1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NiveshBuddy (the “Service”), a web application owned and operated by NiveshX Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.(“NiveshX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting or using the Service, you (“User” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any part of the Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Definitions

• Service - The NiveshBuddy platform, including all features, content, tools, and data.
• User - Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
• Content - All text, graphics, data, reports, analyses, code, images, videos, and other material available through the Service.

3. Research Platform & No Investment Advice

NiveshBuddy provides tools to build, backtest, analyze, and simulate investment strategies using historical market data. The Service is intended to support users in researching and evaluating their own investment ideas.

NiveshBuddy is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst and does not provide personalized investment advice, recommendations, or portfolio management services.

Nothing available through the Service should be construed as financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any investment decisions made based on insights generated by the Service remain solely the responsibility of the user.

4. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity under your account.

5. Permitted Use

You receive a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non‑commercial purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Copy, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Content without prior written consent.
• Use robots, scrapers, or similar methods to access or extract data.
• Interfere with, hack, or disrupt the Service or its security.
• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

6. Fees, Payments & Refunds

All subscription fees, if applicable, are payable in advance and non‑refundable. Declined or reversed payments may lead to suspension of your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, code, and other Content on the Service are the exclusive property of NiveshX or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international intellectual‑property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

8. User Content & Indemnity

If you post, upload, or transmit any material (“User Content”) on or through the Service, you grant NiveshX a worldwide, royalty‑free licence to use, reproduce, modify, and display that User Content in connection with operating the Service. You agree to indemnify NiveshX, its affiliates, and personnel against all claims, damages, and expenses arising from (a) your breach of these Terms or (b) User Content you submit.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Past performance is not indicative of future results. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NiveshX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption—arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

The Service may contain links to external websites. NiveshX is not responsible for the content or practices of any third‑party site and your use of those sites is at your own risk.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
